Activities & Programs
An activity for every camper.
Scheduled Programs
A tired camper is a happy camper! With only 9 weeks in a summer, we pack each day with memory-making activities that keep kids moving and trying new things.
Campers enjoy several “All Camp” activities together, such as Opening and Closing ceremonies to start and end the day. In between All Camp activities, camper groups rotate through different programs every 45 minutes. Morning snack and lunch are also included! Group activities your camper might experience in a typical week can include:
Arts & Crafts
Bible Time
Hiking
Nature Study
Music
Games
Outdoor Sports
Group-building Activities
Elective Activities
Campers can build their skills and self-confidence by participating in elective activities that interest them.
Throughout their week, campers can elect to participate in special activities that help them build on existing skills or explore their creative passions. We offer a wide variety of activities so every camper has the opportunity to find something they like. Some of the activities offered include the following:
Archery
Slingshots
Fishing
Drama
Dance
Makerspace
STEM activites (paper airplanes, bottle rockets, etc.)
Quiet Activities (board games, legos, puzzles, etc.)
Large Group Games
Outdoor Active Zones
Outdoor play and sports is an important part of childhood, encouraging kids in developing physical, social, and emotional skills. They also contribute to some of our best summer memories!
We create a safe place for kids to grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and sometimes that means hitting the fields! Teamwork and a sense of play take priority as campers participate in organized sports, swimming, or playground activities. Our large campground includes several active zones for campers to play together, including the following:
Basketball Court
Volleyball Court
Gaga Courts
Softball/Kickball Diamond
Swimming Pool (Lessons and free swim)
2 Playgrounds
2 Human Foosball Courts
Special Events & Themes
Every week is special to our campers. Whether you come for one week or all nine, we keep it fresh and exciting with special events and themes.
Each week has a different theme which guides our Bible stories, schedules, and special events.
Carson Simpson Farm is all-inclusive, which means we bring the fun on-site at no extra cost. So when we say the Carnival has come to town, we mean we’ve brought the snow cones, face paint, and carnival games to our campers! Special events vary widely and directly relate to each week’s theme. Some examples of special events we’ve run in the past include:
Water Carnival
Yo-Yo Performer
Service dog training demonstration
Field Day
Science Demonstrations
Ripe Creatives
End of Summer Carnival
Camp Talent Show
