Camper Groups
Pre-K Group: Little Critters
They are small, but they are mighty! Our Little Critters are for children completing Pre-K, including kids who are 4 to 5-years old.
Camp for our Little Critters focuses on enhancing their imagination, helping them explore the world through play, and expanding their curiosity through developmentally appropriate activities. Under the watchful care of camp staff who are chosen for their love of young children, Little Critters enjoy special program activities that include music, art, nature and science, swim lessons, physical games, and cooperative learning. Morning snack and lunch are included!
Grades K-6 Day Camp Groups
We create opportunities for kids to connect with each other and with Jesus through meaningful programs, action-packed schedules, Bible stories, and authentic interactions.
We organize campers into smaller, age-appropriate groups to help kids learn to work collaboratively together and form treasured summer camp friendships. Kids are grouped according to the grades they have just completed. Groups include kids who have just completed kindergarten through just completed 6th grade.
Teen Cornerstone Leaders
Our unique teen camp program encourages teens grade 7 in developing life skills in leadership and service.
Cornerstone Leadership Camp is a continuation of our day camp program, but it begins to teach teens about leading and serving others, as modeled by Jesus in the Bible. Teens will have a daily schedule that includes time to serve others. They will work together on a project that benefits others, giving them a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem. They will also enjoy age-appropriate camp programs that reflect their interests and abilities. At the end of each week, we hope that teens have a bigger heart for serving others while developing the work ethic and good character necessary for tomorrow’s leaders.
Benefits of Camper Groups
Summer camp teaches us many things, like independence, resilience, critical thinking, and curiosity. Learning in a group of peers means we also learn about friendship, kindness, communication, and self-confidence.
While there are many “All Camp” activities that bring us all together, campers have the opportunity to grow together in age-appropriate groups. Within their groups, all campers can participate in arts and crafts, hiking, nature study, music, Bible study, outdoor sports, group-building activities, and swim lessons in an encouraging and supportive way. Each camper will have the opportunity to choose from a list of electives. Different electives will be available to different groups depending on the activity’s age restrictions. Lunch and morning snack are available to every group. Learn more about our activities.
