#Givingtuesday: Give a Camp Experience That Could Change Lives Forever!
As we enter this seasonal time of giving, I invite you to consider contributing to this years #GivingTuesday, December 1st, 2020. This year we hope to raise $5,000 in order to provide scholarships to those in need of financial support. Each of our scholarship programs are unique, but all serve the goal of bringing children to camp so they can hear about the Love Jesus Christ has for them. In 2019 Carson Simpson Farm provided over 36,000 dollars in scholarships for campers, which is not possible, without the generous support from our community of donors.
PEACE (Partners Equipping All Children for Eternity) ministry scholarships go to serve the underprivileged children of Philadelphia. Your generous gifts allow many children the opportunity to come to camp for the first time and explore the awesome environment God has created. Every PEACE ministry camper receives a partial scholarship, but more and more campers are in need of further assistance to be able to come to camp. Carson Simpson also works to provide transportation for this group as well as any basic needs that these children may not have.
Our day camp scholarship provides a partial scholarship to low income families within our immediate community. Family’s must apply for this assistance and the generous gifts, provided by our community, allows many families to come to camp and enjoy a Christ centered camping experience.
Finally, our military family scholarships are an opportunity for us to say thank you to those who serve our country. Each week, we strive to provide a full scholarship for a child who has a parent currently serving in the armed forces. We are so thankful for the sacrifices so many service men and women make on our behalf.
