Summer is Almost Here! Are you excited??

We are so excited to say that the start of camp is only a month a way and we would love to share all of the ways that we are excited to see God work this summer.

Our day camp is nearly full! We are so honored that so many families in our community have chosen to our camp to serve their children this summer. We are going to operate at 68 percent of our total capacity so we can offer the safest camping experience possible, and we know that God is going to do big things in the lives of many. More than half of our campers are going to be enjoying the Carson Simpson Farm experience for the very first time and we are so overjoyed. We are so excited to be able to share the love Christ has for these campers in their lives and to be able to share the promise that Christ’s love will not let them go. We look forward to starting our nine-week adventure on June 21st.

We are happy to host our PEACE ministry campers for an overnight camping experience from July 12th to the 16th. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of so many donors and grants that will allow all of this year’s participants a full scholarship. Whether it is through our day camp programming r special programs at night, we are confident that this experience will be life changing to the many campers that come to enjoy our site.

We continue to improve and prepare our site for camp. With the COVID 19 virus still impacting our community and world, we are working tirelessly to make sure our site is as safe as possible. We have completed building modifications to improve hygiene and distancing abilities. We continue to revisit guidelines and review our guidelines to ensure a camping environment that is comforting to families who have worked so hard to keep their loved ones safe. We continue to improve the safety of our physical site by adding security cameras and improved lighting, so that peace of mind may be on every family’s thoughts.

To say the very least all of us here at CSF are so very excited to be able to offer a unique camping experience this summer, that focuses on enjoying God’s creation and developing a wonderful relationship with Jesus. We are excited to meet all of our campers this June and look to make a positive impact on all our families lives!
